Puddle Jumpers CEC in Columbus, Georgia, needed adventureTURF to take on their playground upgrade from start to finish.
When our crew arrived on the scene, there two play areas that had been covered in wood chips. We went to work preparing the surface for poured rubber. Excavating the area first, then increasing the size of the area and leveling the sub-base with compacted gravel.
Once the playgrounds were ready for the poured surface we start with a black base to set the appropriate thickness for the required fall height. This gives the entire surface the cushion so little ones are safe when they fall. When the initial poured base cures we can pour the final surface. The owners at Puddle Jumpers chose a color that most closely matched their red brick day care center.
